I am a creative individual. I love all things artistic. I'm a jack of all trades, a personal goal of mine is to have tried everything at least twice. I like to be decent at everything I try, and if i'm not, I stubbornly continue until I am. I like fast cars, knitting and crochet, I play the guitar(not that well mind you, but i'm working on it!), I skate, play games, practice photography. I like to play my didgeridoo(I picked up a reallly nice authentic one from arnham land while abroad). I like to pretend I know anything about decorating and/or cooking. I'm working on being more focused and less scattered I feel it's something thats important.

I vibe on music big time, love dancing and singing in my car as loud as possible, with the windows rolled down, and pretend like no one can hear me singing. And continue doing it until a deaf person comes at me with a sign that thats "Shut the hell up." It's no fault of my own, it's just I sound EXACTLY like the band when i'm in my car. Not so much out of my car, but while i'm in my car, I have the voice of a saint.

I tend to dive headlong into things, I guess you could say i'm action oriented. More "okay, that sounds like a plan" *runs off and does it*. The idea of details strikes me as an obstacle. My thought process tends to go along the lines of:

Person A: Hey so I think if we built a rocket pack out of beer and bottle rockets we could put this teddy bear into orbit.

Me: Well..that sounds logical. LETS FRIGGIN DO IT!!! *runs off and buys beer, bottle rockets, and a teddy bear I believe would be a cute alien ambassador*

Person B: Hey I don't think this is going to work, *lists off a number of reasons including physics*

Me: Don't complicate the issue. We're gonna do this if we have to strap 1 million bottle rockets to this sucker. Now you go take this chalkboard and this calculator and figure out how many we need.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind anyone else handling the details. Just know that it won't be me

....I guess my point is...don't judge me by the rest of the guys you've met or have been in relationships with and don't assume I fit in any certain "Category".
I'm also terrible at this stuff because I'm a PEOPLE person. You know, the type of person who looks you in the eye and speaks to you? So I'll just make a few points.
*I'm into sports just like the next guy, but even though I was told not to admit it on here, there's a total nerd side of me as well. I love baseball and football. Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins all the way. If you 're a yankee's fan...well, let's jus say....I'll try. I also enjoy working out and other man things, but enough of that.
*Nerdy side stuff: I enjoy reading. Yes, for enjoyment. I know, it's hard to believe. I love my fiction, but will read anything if it's readily available lol. I can't even begin to write about who my favorite authors are, because I have many...just the way I am. Maybe ask me if you're interested, and I'll go to town. Don't say I didn't warn you though.
*I spend alot of my time helping people out. Some of this is because I ENJOY it and some of it is because well, I'm the "single" friend all the married couples have. I'm a bit older and wiser now so I actualy don't mind it. I'm the guy who everyone can call and ask for a favor, and if I say I'll be there, then I'll be there. I don't know, but it might explain why I have alot of friends.
*I mentioned above about the god-children, nephews and nieces. I have my priorities straight and my family and friends are what keeps me grounded. I know all you women have heard "I love kids" from guys you've dated or known, but in my case, it really is true. I'm from a big family, and I'm the only single sibling left, so ya, imagine how it is. No worries. I wouldn't have it any other way.
*I'm a very honest and open type of person, so that's why I don't do well with the "drama" relationship types. I suck at lying and I don't keep secrets....sooooo...if you DO, don't waste your time with me.

I'm the epitome of righteous beligerance. I'm Irish, and an aries. And pretty typical of both. I'm loud, obnoxious, a smart ass, and a whole lot of fun. I can be polite, and use etiquette, and I'm a gentleman, but I gotta be me most of the time. I've been through more in 30 years than most people in a lifetime, and Im still walking. Hell, Im still running, smiling, laughin and playin. I tend to stay positive, and try to look at life as a learning experience. Otherwise, I went through a lot of random bullshit for nothing. To keep things simple, let me start by saying you can refer to just about any other guy's profile on here about a lot of the boring stuff...I really wouldn't be distinguishing myself by saying that I like romantic dinners, walks on the beach, and cuddling by candelight all whilst being honest and not playing games. Who's really going to say "I like women who make dinner, clean the house, and perform perverse acts on film while I jet away to Vegas with their sister and their best friend on the Hooters plane"? It'd be funny, maybe even true, and we can't have those sorts of things on the internet. So, let's get the important stuff that actually makes a difference. I'm 27, 6', 300lbs. Yep, a big dude.

As to what I'm looking for, the simplest term would be "interesting". I have a lot of diverse tastes and am easily bored to tears. I read a lot, play various instruments, play all sorts of games, both nerdy and socially accepted. I walk the fine line between failed rockstar and successful nerd.

I adore my children and feel blessed to have every moment with them. I also love animals and enjoy nature. Travelling is one of my favorite things. Hmm.. where to start? I'm 21, and I could possibly be the coolest kid you'll never meet. I drop bombs not names. I'm full throttle all the time or not at all. I am very outgoing and personable. I'm an ADD kid so my mind goes a million miles a minute. I can't really be is angry, it seems like I'm always in a good mood. I like to poke fun at people and toss around the insults, but always in good fun. I have a hard time dealing with people that can't take a joke, but if you can, we'll be great friends.

I am well aware of my large head and pale complexion. The head I cant change and I was born fair skinned so I don't tan, I burn. I am however working on getting in shape for the summer. I try to exercise an hour a day at least 5 days/week.

I own my own place and my own car. I believe that a person needs to make their own way in the world and shouldn't have to rely on other people. I am a college graduate and have a 4 year degree in engineering.

I like to learn, and I spend entirely too much time thinking about why we do the things we do (see below). Electronics and computers have always fascinated me, and I used to take everything I could find apart to see how it worked. I guess that's extended to a sort of armchair psychology as I got older and people's feelings and intentions became more important.

I firmly believe that cartoons are "awesome" and there's no such thing as "being too old". I've particularly never grown out of all things Transformers, though my knowledge isn't nearly as encyclopedic as my friends'. Other favorites are the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies Warner Bros. shorts, but I like a lot of things. I've been known to leave the TV on Boomerang for days at a time. I'm just now learning that I should've been watching Adult Swim all these years that I was able to and didn't.

I also make an on-again, off-again hobby of the martial arts. I spend more time out of the dojo than in, and more time on the couch than practicing, but I have read a lot on the subject and pretend that makes up for it.

I feel pretty strongly against people assuming too much. It's amazed me recently how little people actually listen to each other, and how little they remember hearing what they did hear. It's frustrating then because they'll make assumptions off of what they thought they heard, and judge people based on misconceptions of who they are... I really think it just makes relationships stronger if people can understand each other, disagree, and still appreciate that disagreement as a sign of basic intellect. C'mon, people, it's the 21st century!

I wonder if it was always this way, or it's just because life is so hectically paced these days.

I am a 24 years old recently divoreced. I love playing sports, working out, and partying with friends. All about having a good time right now, not looking for anything to serious.

I am an average guy. I work long hours during the summer as that is my busy season for my career. At 30, I still feel like I'm 20. I have a ton of energy, I don't bother getting a full 8 hours of sleep (why sleep when you can be living life?), I exercise regularly, and...while I can never get my local friends onboard...I still think the idea of a "sleepover" is pretty damn cool, and an excellent expression of friendship.

You could call me well-read, my current events and pop culture knowledge are excellent, I have a well-formed and informed opinion on every important political issue (and many not-so-important ones), and I can keep up with a conversation about...well...anything. Basically, I got a g-g-good brain, if that's what you're looking for.

I never know what to say on these things, partially because I'm wordy and could write for hours and still not get it completely right. Also, I tend to shift attitudes around depending on the kind of day I've had, so any exercise in defining myself is ultimately pointless. Me? Well, I work as a Supervisor for a phone company named after people that have never had sex, and when not doing that (and going INSANE in the process) I write... a lot. There's a short story that I got published a while back in my journal posts, if you wanna see that sort of thing. It's about a 19th century robot that embarks on a theft spree with a 15 year old pickpocket... You know, everyday kind of stuff. :)

I apparently (from my dating history) have a thing about women that look as though they might just stab me in the back while I'm sleeping and those tend to be the girls that call themselves "crazy." It's FAR more baggage than having a kid, which is what usually scares guys off... never understood that one really, and I can't stand it. I prefer people who still fundamentally think that things will get better, not who get comforatable with things being average or bad.

I have a daughter that I am absolutely all about. She's the Princess of my palace and I spoil her rotten every chance I get. She lives in the UK with her mother, but we stay in contact all the time on webcam. It's not quite what I had hoped for, but it's good enough for now, and better than things used to be (don't ask). Suffice to say, I know alot about Disney Princesses and Barbie and that is a little disturbing to me sometimes.

Once upon a time, I was a guy that believed that the world was completely not worth dealing with, but I have gotten better with age. Nowadays, I really try to make sure that if I am in a self-destructive mood that I do something constructive with it like work, or writing, or even just going somewhere to kinda get my head together. Previously, I would have gotten hammered and acted like the biggest ass you'd ever met. This is alot better.

I took a test earlier this evening that said that my ideal girl was the "Brooding Poetess" type. That was literally the least suprising thing I had ever read. The great irony on this is that I have seen like ONE seriously attractive poetry girl in this area on this site and, for one reason or another, that's not going to happen. Oh well, such is life. But I point this out to make this point...

I'm incredibly bad at trying to sum myself up in a few sentences. The truth of the matter is - I'm really not all that interesting! I'm a chronic people-pleaser... I've spent my entire life trying to be what someone else wanted me to be and I've never really taken the time to find me. I'm tend to be overly shy and dreadfully bad at meeting new people.

Well, where to begin? I'm Chris. I spent the first 21 years of my life in Pennsylvania. I moved to Virginia after the Air Force stationed me here.

I spent the next four years in the Air Force working on the F-22 as a mechanic, and while it was enjoyable, I'm glad to be done. I'm now attending school full-time as a student. Like most people here, it is really hard to describe myself. I am a really quiet guy that usually doesn't like to share things until I get to know people. I tend to get along with everyone and am usually find myself part of multiple groups of friends instead one core group.

Well I'm a 5 yr vet working for FedEx, I drool over cars that are souped up either muscle or import, Im enrolled in college finally, and I like dancing at the club.
